It’s Super Bowl And Kitty Bowl Time

Super Bowl weekend is finally upon us. This Sunday, February 2nd, the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks will play in Super Bowl XLVIII at MetLife stadium in East Rutherford, NJ. Football has been voted America’s favorite sport for the 30th year in a row. With that said, the game will be on but, there will be another event going on that will have lots of “ohhhhs and awwwws” over at the Puppy Bowl airing on Animal planet. This year our Canine friends will not be the only ones to engage in a mock sporting event of their own, this year the Puppy bowl will be rivaled with the premier of the Kitten Bowl.

The Kitten Bowl is a three-hour event, airing 12:00pm est on the Hallmark channel and hosted by feline Lover Beth Stern. The Kitten Bowl will consist of two preliminary playoffs, followed by a championship match. According to official website “Along with basic obstacle courses of hurdles, tunnels, hoops, jumps, weave poles, lasers, lures and toys on strings, “Kitten Bowl” will feature clever locker room strategies, player profiles and “interviews,” and camera work and audio recordings from the athletes as they play the game!”
